Electronic Application System (EASY)
- The Employment Application System must be used to employ someone. Click on SSO Authentication link and log in with Texas State Net ID and password.
- Prior to hiring a new salaried staff employee into an existing vacant or new position, several steps must be followed. Please refer to the Staff Employment Check List

Expedited Search for the posting process must be approved by Equity and Access.
If you have identified a specific candidate to hire for a position outside of the normal posting process, then you will need to go through Equity and Access. You will need to request an expedited search and posting so that you may place the identified candidate into a grant funded position. This is done by sending an email to Cynthia Prado at email@example.com. Please copy Bobbie Brandenburg at firstname.lastname@example.org so she can assist and coordinate the request in the university’s applicant tracking system, EASY.
