This hands-on workshop focuses on the hiring of salaried and hourly staff employees. Understanding the different types of PCRS, when to use each one, how to create the PCR in the SAP portal, regulations and system requirements that impact the effective dates for hires, transfers, changes in FTE and changes in payroll areas. Overview of cutoff dates, internal processes followed by the MDC, and completion of the support hiring documentation required to be submitted with the PCR. This class also walks the user through the DISPLAY options available through PA20 – locating the action history, basic pay, organizational assignment, cost distribution, address, and many other options that will enable the user to track their employee’s appointment information. This class is presented by Roxie Weaver and covers a period of 2 hours.
