Phase 3: Performance Review

Step 1: Manager Adds Job Duties

This step is similar to the actions performed earlier in the performance plan step. However, it is important that the manager add job duties both in the performance planning and performance review step.

Step 4: 1:1 Meeting

This step is a sit down session between manager and employee to discuss the employee's performance review.

Ask yourself the following questions:

  • have you had an open dialogue regarding performance throughout the year?
  • are your assessments going to come as a surprise to employees?
  • are you prepared to listen to differing perspectives regarding your performance?
