What if I need the job posted quickly?
Expedited Search for the posting process must be approved by Equity and Inclusion. If you have identified a specific candidate to hire for a position outside of the normal posting process, then you will need to go through Equity and Inclusion.
You will need to request an expedited search and posting so that you may place the identified candidate into a grant funded position. This is done by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please copy email@example.com to assist and coordinate the request in the university’s applicant tracking system.
Please refer to UPPS 04-04-03, “Staff Employment”, Section 4 Recruiting Options for Filling Staff Positions, paragraph 1; “The chief diversity officer and director, Equity and Inclusion must approve exceptions to the provisions of this section.”
