OFFERED WAGE: $70,000.00 per year
JOB DUTIES: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses focused on digital media innovation, supporting our Digital Media Innovation undergraduate and graduate program, and working with our Media Innovation Lab. Hold regular office hours and be responsible for advising students, conducting academic research in her field of specialization, and publishing her findings in appropriate journals. Maintain an active research program and secure external funding as appropriate for research and academic discipline. Present at conferences, participate in departmental meetings, and engage in faculty governance by serving on school and university committees.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Ph.D. in Digital Media, Mass Communication, Communications, or a closely related field.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Four months (one academic semester) of experience as an Assistant Professor, Instructor, or closely related position.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Four months (one academic semester) of experience teaching in digital media-related courses at the university level. Must have experience in scholarly research or creative activity.
